PROJECT 2 MESHING OF DOOR PANEL

OBJECTIVE :
To mesh the given model by the following criteria. ASPECT :5, SKEWNESS: 45, WARPING : 15 and 10% TRIA.
PROCEDURE :
- Split the model for easy of work use surface edit.

- Do all the surface clean up for midsurface generation ,defeature all the fillet below the radius 5 for better mid surface generation and better mesh flow
- Then take the mid surface generation by offsetting to the mid of the feature

- Check the vector normal , if the direction is opposite to direction we need then choose reverse normal
- Duplicate the selected surface to the current surface then assign the dimension and offset
- Automesh the surface by setting quad as element style, 4 as element size
- Then do the quality clean up of the element which ever failed to the user quality criteria by replace , align , project , translate and quality index.
- Then assign the properties as thickness for the component for varying thickness give the average thickness
Result:
By following the above steps we can achieve our objective
