Aim :-

Model of a membrane roof with cables. The modeling, form-finding and create the cutting patterns to the structure.

Procedure :-

* Open RFEM and looking at the given figure plot nodes on the grid system.

* Once all the nodes have been plotted join them with lines.

* Now generate the new membrane by selecting these closed lines.

* New membrane is obtained, assign cables to the supporting members.

* Assign hinge support at the base of each node.

* Once all this is done, generate the FE mesh for the membrane.

* Click on calculation all and check the results such as deformation, deflection.

* Add the load cases such as dead ,live and wind.

* Assign a dead load of 1kn to the membrane using surface load.

* Check the results after applying load for different parameters.

* Go to tools and select generate cutting patterns from cells.

* Click on the node assign the value of compensation and allowance.
