Battery resistance 2 milli ohm

Consider the battery resistance is 0.5 mOhm, delta time is 0.1 and entropic factor is 2

Answer:-

part-1:- The max heat generation of the battery

from the above given data

the battery resistance is 0.5 mOhm, entropic factor is 2

part-2 :-The SOC of the battery at 2 *104second of the battery operation

Model:-

block used- battery, bus selector, signal builder, controlled current source, current measurement, integrator, gain, sum, constant, scope, powergui, display.

The SOC of the model is calculated by using coulomb counting method. the initial SOC is subtracted with the current measured integral to get actual calculated SOC.

in this model we have taken battery whose measurement port is connected to bus selector then scope to show plot of soc%, current , voltage, +ve is connected to -ve of controlled current source & -ve of batt. is connected to current measurement block, here controlled current source is use to give variable load as per given drive cycle, for that signal builder is used, import the drive cycle excel scheet in signal builder, the measured current signal is gone through inegrator & gain as shown to calculate actual SOC at 2*104sec, we have taken simulation time as 208sec, when we run the simulation we can see the actual calculated soc in display of actual SOC which is 0.9899 which is same as the bus selector output display 98.99%.

the above excel sheet is import in signal builder , shown as below.

the above is the battery parameters used.

plot-1:- this show the soc% of batt. which reduced to 98.99% at the end.

plot-2:- here current remain constant 0.94amps during simulation.

plot-3:- the voltage started at max. 8.4v reduced to 8.1v for 208sec.

result:- this is the actual calculated SOC of battery for 208sec which is 0.9899 using coulomb counting method for the given simulation time.
