Aim: Model of the membrane roof with cables . the modelling , form finding and create the cutting patterns to the strucutre.

Procedure:

Create a new and enablr form finding and cutting pattern options

Step-1

Open the software

Initiate the Project Go to General and put Model name set project name and save this

Material assign

Step-3

Now we have to select the nodes and assign hinge support

Step -4

now surface assign to the cables and crete a new material for the membrane as 2D type.

Step-5

Give stress force and material properties of the surface.

Step-6

Now generate cutting platform cells option tools from and generate cutting pattern.

Step-7

Now Go RF Limits module from data and choose the result combination from design limit check.

Step-8

Now Provide axial force ranges for all the surfaces in both nx ny directions and generate the mess with triangle meshing.

Step-9

Now we can see the deflection.
