Test Plan to test the features of mobile –

Test cases

1. If (power is off) --> black screen

else --> display on

2. If user wants to turn mobile on --> long press the power button

If success --> company logo will appear at the center

Else --> repeat step 2

3. If the step 2 is successful -->

Can user see the Apps/icons on the screen --> yes --> Success

• No --> Step 3 re-development

4. If step 3 is successful -->

If the orientation of the icons is correct? --> yes --> Success

(like first icon is – call the phone 2^nd is dictionary)

No - Step 4 Re-development

(check the orientation as per the requirement document)

5. If Step 4 is successful -->

Is call my phone is visible --> Yes

-->is contacts are present in chronological order -->Yes

-->Step 5 Success

-->Re-development

Is call my phone not visible --> Re-development

6. Is Dictionary lets user search for the words --> yes

-->Is orientation is correct --> Success

-->No -->Redo the Orientation

If dictionary is not visible --> development repeated

7. Long pressing the Power button

-->is phone on --> yes -->Turn off the phone(phone screen should go black once the Goodbye message is shown on the screen)

-->is phone off -->yes -->Phone power should be turned on and check for step one should be repeated

8. If the all the above steps are successful --> Yes -->

Then font size and font type selection should happen.

Check for font type – calibri

Check for font size –12

If yes --> success

Else --> update the details as per the requirement

9. Is the UI is touch responsive --> yes -->

Is the all the touchpoints of the screen are working -->yes

If not --> check the hardware

If UI is not touch responsive --> check the hardware.

10. Is the phone having button -->Yes

-->all the buttons should be replaced with touch responsive screen rather single screen on which multiple touch input points will be available

-->if not buttons --> the requirement is satisfied and successfully tested.

As per the requirement sheet the orientation of the apps/logos/search bar is tested successfully. UI is checked and once approved following step will be taken care of

Note --> Re-development is hardware means checking the hardware for some faults in the components.

--> For software Re-development, the code will be rectified for all the modules which deviate the requirement document.

11. If all the steps are successful the device should be sent to User acceptance test.
