  • Recommended Fast Charge Method to 80% SOC: 4C to 3.6V CC, 12 min
  • Maximum Continuous Discharge (A): 70
  • Maximum Pulse Discharge (10 seconds, A): 120 A
  • Cycle Life at 10C Discharge, 100% DOD: >1,000 cycles
  • Operating Temperature: -30°C to 55°C
  • Storage Temperature: -40°C to 60°C

Considerations and Caluculations:

Nominal voltage of cell is 3.3V

Cell Capacity is 2.5Ah

Cell energy capacity is =3.3*2.5=8.25 Kwh

Capacity Required is 18000wh

let condider 4S3P module

voltage of the module 4*3.3=13.2V

Capacity of the module 2.5*3=7.5Ah

Here we conclude that each module have voltage and capacity is 13.2v,7.5Ah

let consider battery pack voltage will be 100V

To get this voltage number modules has to be connected in series

100/13.2=7.576V means 8 Modules has to be connected in series

now find the battery pack capacity =18000kwh/100v = 180Ah

now we required the number of parallel conneted modules

180Ah/7.5Ah=24 (parallel connected modules required)

Total energy of the battery is =(8*13.2)*(180*24)=19008 Wh ,Generally 1 to 2 % losses will be there in the battery pack , generally we consider actually capacity is more than required capacity usually that is 5-10% of it.

Volume of the each cell is =pi*radius*radius*Height=0.065*0.013*0.013*3.14=0.000034 M^3

18kwh Battery pack will use to E-Rickshas..

Battery pack Making Procedure:

step 1: arrange the cell holers in the manner of 4S3P.

Step 2:now arrange all cell in the manner of 4S3P.

Step 3 :connect cells in series and parallel with nichel strip:

here one complete module connections over.

Step 4: Now arrange the modules one on one and make the connections

step 5: place the battery cell modules in the enclosure:

Now the battery pack is ready . we can use the battery pack in the EV Application
