Project 1 : CFD Meshing for Tesla Cyber Truck
CFD MESHING ON TESLA CYBER TRUCK
AIM:
To deploy the volumetric mesh for the Tesla Cyber Truck model along with surface mesh for the Wind Tunnel which includes solving TOPO errors and overlapping and assigning PID with different selection techniques using ANSA V22.
OBJECTIVE:
To perform the volumetric meshing on the BMW car, by solving Topo errors and OFF elements for one half of the model and surface meshing with different mesh target length and symmetry the same to get the full model.
PROCEDURE:
- Importing the file.

2.Performing TOPO operation

3.Perform plane cut to split into symmetrical geometry.

4.Deleting the symmetrical faces

5.Assigning PID's

6.Force deleting the PID's using compress tool

FINAL OVERALL MESHED MODEL

FOR VOLUMETRIC MESHING

LEARNING OUTCOME:
I learnt to create the Surface mesh and prepared also prepared the model for volumetric meshing along with wind tunnel setup which includes Advanced Topo cleanup of the geometry which has overlapping surfaces and also assigning different Target length's for different groups of surfaces of 4mm for body,3mm for window and windshield and tyres 15-25 mm for wind tunnel.
Also prepared the for volumetric meshing which includes 5 volumes which can be further used for 3D Meshing.
RESULT:
Surface Meshing on tesla cyber truck and model preparation for Volumetric Meshing along with wind tunnel is carried out which includes solving oFF elements and necessary operations are performed.
CONCLUSON:
The main theme of this challenge is to deploy the surface Mesh for different groups of surfaces with different quality criteria and mesh parameters and also solving OFF elements with various techniques provided the Tria mesh having a total of 11055266 elements which can be promoted for Volumetric meshing.
