Step 2:

Catalog creation and all the previously created components into respective family for future use.

Step 3:

Creating a new product file and rename it as ''Assy Engine Harness Context'' then Placing the connectors and mounting features with respect to the engine assembly without applying any geometrical constraints with context assembly.

Note: This will be used as a context assembly which will not be part of actual wiring harness.

Step 4:

Routing & packaging of wiring Harness in 3d workplace maintaining necessary parameters & engineering aspects.

Step 5:

Checking electrical connectivity of bundle segments, it should be fully defined.

Step 6:

Wiring Harness Flattening:

Step 7:

Summery:

This project involves the design of an automotive engine wiring harness using Catia V5. The process includes the 3D modeling of a harness layout in a virtual engine environment, followed by flattening & final preparing of 2D drawing for documentation purpose.

The project aims to demonstrate the basic understanding of wiring harness design principles, including proper routing, connector placement and adherence to safety considerations, it highlights the use of Catia for developing design workflow commonly used in automotive industry.
