Project 1 - 2D meshing on the instrumental Panel

Objective:- To extract midsurface for the the given geometry (Instrument Panel) and Mesh the geometry with given parameters.

Geometry CAD Model:-

Procedure:-

Geometry Clean up is required before extracting the midsurface.

MidSurfacing:-

Due to variable thickness offset commant is used to extract the midsurface.

Ribs and midsurface to be Connected by extend / intersect command.

Meshing the geometry:-

Setting criteria:-

Outcomes:-

1 Midsurfacing for variable thickness.

2 Meshing the model using Spot/Batch meshing

3 Joining/Extending the ribs.

4 Learned to remove off elements.
