Aim: Perform Form-finding and structural analysis structure of multiple masts.

Procedure:

 Open the RFEM software and input the required settings

Set the units to metric system

Tick the Form Finding option 

Insert the nodes at required locations

Connect the lines with nodes

Assign the Nodal Supports

Assign cable material to all the lines

Assign the surface to the membrane using Quadrangle surfaces

Assign the material to the surface

 Give the Othotropic Membrane properties

 Apply the prestress of 0.8 KN/sq.mm on the conical as well as the connecting surfaces.

 

 Change the local Axes of each surface

 Now Go FE mesh settings and apply Triangular Mesh
