Aim:

Creating the plastic component using the section.

Objective:

• To create the solid plastic component using the master section.
• To obtain the same surface to the entire component without changing the given class A surface.

Creating of the plastic Component:

To follow the master structure we need modify the modify structure of Master class, we are noting changing the class A, just adding the flange to it. The flange is create by using sweep option by boundary as guide curve and with surface as reference.

The class A surface is offset for 3mm as the master section is evaluated and the again flange is created to offset surface also as shown below,

We have created the flange for offset and both surfaces are joined by using the blend option we created the complete volume of plastic surface as shown below,

Now analyze the plastic component whether it matches the master section or not. It helps to determine we create the exact surface from class A surface.

We have created the plastic component using the help of master section, now are going to create molding details like the tooling and parting line for plastic component.

Conclusion:

The plastic component has been successfully created by using the given master section. The molding details of parting line and tooling direction also provided for manufacturing purpose.
