AIM:

to develop a double-acting actuator model using Simscape Multibody and Simscape components. The mechanical system of the cylinder needs to be built using Simscape Multibody library components / blocks, and the hydraulic system needs to be modelled using Simscape library physical components.

First, we will build the mechanical system of the cylinder using Simscape Multibody components. Then, we will model the hydraulic system using Simscape components.

Mechanical system:

in the mechanical system we can see the assemblies of cylinder and piston connected with the prismatic joint which gives us various outputs force, velocity and position.

in the hydraulic system we have chamber A and chamber B and the connections are shown in figure the outputs from this are bottom hydraulic and head hydraulic values.
