AIM:

 To prepare a schedule for the given elements using revit.

INTRODUCTION:

• A schedule is a tabular display of information, extracted from the properties of the elements in a project.
• A schedule can list every instance of the type of element you are scheduling, or it can collapse multiple instances onto a single row, based on the schedules grouping criteria.
• You can create a schedule at any point in the design process.
• As you make changes to the model that affect the schedule, it automatically updates to reflect those changes.
• You can add a schedule to a drawing sheet
• You can export a schedule to another software program, such as a spreadsheet program.

PROCEDURE:

Step:-1

• First we have to open the revit project and go to the view tab.
• After selecting the schedules option the new tab will appears, as shown below.
• Next we need to select the wall schedule and press ok, as shown below.
• Next the schedule properties tab will be displayed, as shown below.
• Next we need to select the scheduled fields in order and click ok
• Next the door schedule tab will be displayed, as shown in the below figure.

• First we have to open the revit project and go to the view tab and select the schedules option.
• After selecting the schedules option the new tab will appears, as shown below.
• Next we need to select the door schedule and press ok, as shown below.
• Next the schedule properties tab will be displayed, as shown below.
• Next we need to select the scheduled fields in order and click ok
• Next the door schedule tab will be displayed, as shown in the below figure.

Step:-3

• First we have to open the revit project and go to the view tab and select the schedules option.
• After selecting the schedules option the new tab will appears, as shown below.
• Next we need to select the window schedule and press ok, as shown below.
• Next the schedule properties tab will be displayed, as shown below.
• Next we need to select the scheduled fields in order and click ok
• Next the window schedule tab will be displayed, as shown in the below figure.

Step:-4

• First we have to open the revit project and go to the view tab and select the Material takeoff option.
• After selecting the Material takeoff option the new tab will appears, as shown below.
• Next we need to select the wall material and press ok, as shown below.
• Next the Material takeoff properties tab will be displayed, as shown below.
• Next we need to select the scheduled fields in order and click ok.
• Next the Wall Material takeoff tab will be displayed, as shown in the below figure.

RESULT:

The schedules for the walls, doors, windows and concrete materials have been created successfully.

3) Using Revit Calculate area and volume of each room in the model with appropriate room tags applied to each room. Prepare a schedule report for area and volume of each room.

• Next the room scchedule tab is opened ans displayed as below.

RESULT:

Prepared schedule shows the report of area and volume of each room in the model.

4) Using the same schedule using the unit cost rate for materials available in the internet, prepare total cost of materials used in the project
          a. Total Cost of Materials
          b. Individual Material Take off

AIM:-

To prepare total cost of materials using the unit cost rate for materials available in the internet.

INTRODUCTION:

• Material takeoff schedules list the sub-components or materials of any Revit family.
• Material takeoff schedules have all the functionality and characteristics of other schedule views, but they allow you to show more detail about the assembly of a component.
• Any material that is placed in a component within Revit can be scheduled.

PROCEDURE:

Step:-1

• First we have to open the revit project and go to the view tab and select the Material takeoff option.
• After selecting the Material takeoff option the new tab will appears.
• Next we need to select the door material and press ok.
• Next the Material takeoff properties tab will be displayed
• Next we need to select the scheduled fields in order and click ok Next the Door Material tab will be displayed, as shown in the below figure.

Step:-2

• First we have to open the revit project and go to the view tab and select the Material take off option. After selecting the Material take off option the new tab will appears.
• Next we need to select the Wall material and press ok.
• Next the Material take off properties tab will be displayed.
• Next we need to select the scheduled fields in order and click ok
• Next the Wall Material tab will be displayed, as shown in the below figure.

Step:-3

• First we have to open the revit project and go to the view tab and select the Material take off option.
• After selecting the Material take off option the new tab will appears. Next we need to select the Window material take off and press ok.
• Next the Material take off properties tab will be displayed Next we need to select the scheduled fields in order and click ok
• Next the Window Material take off tab will be displayed, as shown in the below figure

Step:-4

• First we have to open the revit project and go to the view tab and select the Material take off option.
• After selecting the Material take off option the new tab will appears.
• Next we need to select the Floor material and press ok..
• Next the Material take off properties tab will be displayed
• Next we need to select the scheduled fields in order and click ok
• Next the Floor Material take off tab will be displayed, as shown in the below figure.

Step:-5

• First we have to open the revit project and go to the view tab and select the Material take off option.
• After selecting the Material take off option the new tab will appears. Next we need to select the Furniture material and press ok.
• Next the Material take off properties tab will be displayed.
• Next we need to select the scheduled fields in order and click ok.
• Next the Furniture Material take off tab will be displayed, as shown in the below figure.

RESULT:

The total cost of materials has ben prepared successfully using th eunit cost rate for materials available in the internet.
