REPORT ON THE ASSEMBLY OF CHOPPER MODEL

RENDERING OF AMERICAN CHOPPER, ROUTE 66 ENVIRONMENT IN SOLIDWORKS VISUALIZE

OBJECTIVE :

. American Chopper (Bike) modeling is the intermediate step between having an idea and making it real.

. It can be used to create an interactive design of that represents a real-life design.

. Depending on the application, it can also be an important step for testing the structural feasibility of a design.

INTRODUCTION :

. Rendering:

. The term render comes from the graphics world where a rendering is an artist's drawing of what a new structure would look like.

. In computer-aided design (CAD), a rendering is a particular view of a 3D model that has been converted into a realistic image.

. American Chopper:

.A chopper is a type of custom motorcycle which emerged in the US state of California in the late 1950s.

.A chopper employs modified steering angles and lengthened forks for a stretched-out appearance.

.They can be built from an original motorcycle which is modified ("chopped") or built from scratch.

.Some of the characteristic features of choppers are long front ends with extended forks often coupled with an increased rake angle, hardtail frames (frames without rear suspension), very tall "ape hanger" or very short "drag" handlebars, lengthened or stretched frames, and larger than stock front wheel.

. Solid Works:

. At the initial stage, the solidwork is used for planning, visual ideation, modeling, feasibility assessment, prototyping, and project management.

.The software is then used for design and building of mechanical, electrical, and software elements.

Chopper Model:

Chopper is a customized bike which has a powerful engine and simple parts with high precise shapes and edges. The basic parts in the chopper are chassis, engine, front wheel, front fender, rear wheel, rear fender, oil tank, gas tank, front fork, chain part, pedal, transmission belt & kick stand.

Detailed Rendering Images:

Conclusion:

.Rendering is the process involved in the generation of a two-dimensional or three-dimensional image from a model by means of application programs.

.Rendering is mostly used in architectural designs, video games, and animated movies, simulators, TV special effects and design visualization.

.Thus the chopper model is modelled, assembled and rendered using solid works software.
