Introduction to REVIT concepts

1.1 open the revit > New>project>select template file>choose Project>ok

2.1 File>save>choose folder( or create new)> name of the file>save

2.2 file>close File>open>choose folder>select file>open

3.1 Architect>wall>select type of wall>selct rect > apply dimension

4.1 Annotate>alligned>dimension

5.1 select all walls >clic arrow down > choose the type of wall

6.1 click default 3d >click on six side as desire

6.2 right click 3d view and rename

7.1click on 3d cube > orbit or pan the view

8.1 click small icon at bottom of screen > choose desired

9.1 click small icon at bottom of screen > choose desired

10.1 manage>project Info > enter the Info as reqested?ok

11.0 Analyse toolbar helps to measure the strength of structure by applying the load on any level by setting up different parameters, criteria. it calculate heating cooling energy for area, space you want. It measure the materials of type, calculate the cost of material.

It does helps to MEP designer to measure pressure, flow of water, air from pipes, area, equipment etc and so make the buiding energy efficient.
