  • Analyse toolbar helps us to analyse on our structural building.
  • It consists of different options like BOUNDARY CONDITION which helps us to define line, point, area condition.
  • In the analytical model and verifies the boundary condition family type are loaded and assigned in the Structural setting menu.
  • By using the LOADS icon we can add and edit the loads to analytical model
  • CONSISTENCY option verifies the analytical and physical model for consistency
  • HEATING and COOLING LOADS prepare load analysis report based on the existing building model
  • Create the energy analytical model and generation design options and potenetial performance outcomes with insights
  • Specifies the suitable geographic location for the project and examine the warning and makes changes to the model as needed to rectify.

  • Link IFC : It links an IFC file to the current project to reference its information for additional design works. If we makes any changes in the original IFC file reflects in the current project
  • Link CAD : Link AutoCAD file to the current project. Later any changes made in CAD file reflects in the project
  • DWE markup : Links marked-up DWF file into a revit project so we can see the marksup on the corresponding sheet
  • Manage Links : We can also link REvit files and CAD files to the current project
  • Load family : It loads a Revit family into the current file
  • Import CAD : It imports data or 3D geometry from other CAd Programs to revit projct/family

Result             :-

Thus, all the above links that Revit supports to be linked to the model in REVIT

Ans 13)    Why do you need the Collaborate tab in Revit? How it supports modeling and its efficiency

  • Revit offers multiple features to different disciplines of engineering such as Architectural, Structural and Mechanical.
  • Plumbing - It helps to work independently on each discipline.
  • To complete the project Alltogether is necessary to get view on
  • Collabration is used to combine all the work to acheive the progress
  • it enebless collabtration so team members can work on the model simultaneously. You can edit and sync a model in cloud
  • On local netwrok or On wide area network
