Fender Design - Wheel Arch Challenge

Fender is an english term for a part of an automobile that frames the wheel. Its main purpose is to prevent rocks, mud, liquid, dirt to get inside the underbody by the repeated motion of the wheel. When the whell is rotating it picks al the dirt, mud etc. and hurl them in a particular direction. Fenders are basically present to prevent injuries to the pedestrian and to contain motion of the particles.

Depending on the region to region Fender wheelarch area is divided into many varieties.

The first one is EUROPEAN STANDARD.

Here is the diagram that represents the european standards. In this front the centre of the wheel arch 30deg front and 50deg back are taken. The European regulation requires a pre determined clearance or a minimum distance of 10mm. to be maintained between the Fender and the respective tyre at particular points along the tyre profile. Here this L is clearance and a is the suspension area.

Horizontal and the vertical axes are drwan centre one is marked as SA.SB is at a distance of 30deg from SA and SC is at a distance of 50deg from SA.A line of 150 mm is drawn that is intersecting at SE.

In the given below images I have tried to show that the clearance L which should be greater than 10 is there i.e.none of the distance present here is less than 10.

as the clearance value(L) which is supposed to be greater than 10 but in the provided model it is way less than it. thus under the European standard the diagrams fails.

Below is the screenshots of the suspension value(a) which should be more than 5mm here the condition satisfies

But since as the value of L does not matches with that of the European standards this fender wheel arc design is not correct.
