Fender Design - Wheel Arch Challenge
AIM:
To Calculate the Wheel Arc area and prove whether the car will pass the standards
WHEEL ARC:
- Wheel Arch is the semi-circular part of the fender positioned above the wheel of the vehicle.
- The main intention for the calculation of wheel arc radius is to position the wheel inside the fender body, because during motion the car tyres will tend to throw particles present on the road like sand, mudrocks, liquids etc. into the air which may harm the pedestrians.
European standards
these are standards followed in the european countries .
As per the european regulations the L must not have lessthan 10 mm in all the sections.(SA,SB,SC,SD,SE)

As per these calculation the given section SA,SC,SD,SE does not follow the european standard.
The section SB pass the european standard .
Thus the given part doesnt pass the european standards.
