Fender Design
Aim:
The aim of this project is to design the Front Fender.
Fender:
A car tire fender is a plastic, metal, or rubber panel that bends over the wheel on the side of the car, extending from the front bumper to the car door. The main function of car fenders is to protect tires and braking systems from mud or other impurities so that they are safer and more efficient.
Fenders also help prevent mud, dirt, dust particles and other liquids from being thrown into the air when the tires are rolling. This component is installed as well as part of the car frame, and is available in various models and sizes. Curved shape, located right near the wheel. Many drivers are still confused in distinguishing fenders and bumpers. In fact, there are also those who call the two components the same. In fact, the bumper itself is not on the side of the vehicle wheels.

The fender is the exterior body part. It's painted the same color as the body. The fender liner is a sturdy curved liner that's installed inside the wheel well, above the wheel. Depending on the vehicle, the fender liner may be made of metal or thermoplastic. The fender liner may be a part of the fender assembly, but it serves a unique purpose. When the wheel sprays debris and moisture, some of it sprays upwards into the wheel well and the engine bay. That can be a problem because these materials are harmful to the engine, wiring, and other related components within the well and bay. For example, the debris and moisture can:
- Corrode parts
- Hit the parts hard enough to damage them
- Contaminate the fluids within the engine, if there's a hole in the lines somewhere

Baffle Mounting
Drip area mounting is the part that connects the fender to the engine compartment. We use fasteners for joining the components. Designing the drip area has the constraint that there must be enough space at the front and rear ends of the fender.

Bumper Mounting:
The fender bumper mounting space is used to mount the fender front side in the bumper to cover the wheel.

Still Mounting:
The fender's still mounting area is used to mount the fender in the bottom of the car door. M5 fasteners are used to attach the fender to the sill, which is the underside of the door.

A-Pillar Mounting:
The A-pillars are the first upright sections on a car that connect the side of the car to the roof. Fender right side mounted in the A-pillar area

Baffle Mounting:
An oil pan is typically provided with a baffle plate, which is used to eliminate entrapment of air in an oil strainer, such as a filtration oil filter, through oil inlets, as well as to prevent oil from sloshing around.
