Fender Design

Fender design : Open the cad file in NX cad.

create a offset outesr surface 5mm and use curve on surface to making flange outers.

trim the sheets where we required and get perfect flanges of bumper area, seil mount area, A pillar mount area, drip area and bow area. use the 5mm curve to all the flanges and make points for curves, after creating curves trim the sheet with trim sheet command.

At drip area only we heve connected flanges use law extension for making angular flanges. For drip area create datum planes at left and right ends with 150mm.

create lawextensions on bumper, seil, bow and drip area. Create sketches on there, project the sketches onto the surface, create the emboss, for getting flat emboss we should give datum plane as a reference. Trim the holes with trim sheet command. and give suitable radius to the edges by applying edge blend command.

remove sharp edges by give bridge curve with 3mm both sides and trim the unwanted sharp edges.

And apply thicken command to the surface 0.75mm and add suitable colour to the cad part.
