Fender Design
OBJECTIVE :
To design a front fender from the given skin data and the master section provided with Drip mounting, A-pillar, Sill, Bumper and Baffle (splash) Mounts.
INTRODUCTION :-
Fender as per name clear it is a fender which prevents the mud, dust particles, water and other harmful objects from coming inside of the cabin and engine portion.
TYPES OF FENDERS :
Two types
- Full bumper tyre Half bumper type
Inputs for the design:-
Master section to create the Drip Area
MOUNTING REGIONS ON FENDER :
There are 5 mounting regions on the fender , they are
- A- pillar mounting
- Baffle mounting
- Sill mounting
- Bumper mounting
- Drip mounting

Finally design of fender is done with the help of NX-CAD software by following the master section.
