1. Title of the project:- Modelling of An American Chopper by Solidwork design software

2. Objective:-To get familiar with sketching, commands and 3D modelling with solidwork software

3. Introduction:- This American Choper consist of 14 parts name as Transmission belt, Chain, Kickstand, Engine, Chasis, Fork handle, Front wheel, Rear wheel, Front fender, Gas tank, Oil tank, Pedal LH, Pedal RH and Rear fender.

4. Design methodology/approach:-

Explanation:-

An american chopper contains 13 child parts named as 1. Chasis, 2.Engine, 3.Pedal, 4.Kickstand, 5.Belt drive, 6.Oil tank, 7.Rear wheel, 8.Rear fender, 9.chain, 10.Gas tank, 11.Front fork, 12.Front wheel and 13.Front fender. STEPS required to make chopper:- 1. Making child parts individually . 2. Assembly by making mates them to each other.
Child parts designing as follows:-
1. Transmission Belt Drive:-

As shown in above fig we have drawn geometry using line,offset command making line and semicircle tangents.

Here we have used the extruded boss command,fillet command and appearance.

2. Chain :-

3. Pedal:-

In chain manufacturing we have used mirror, curve pattern and extruded command.

4. Front fork:-

In chain manufacturing we have used splines,circle, line, extruded boss, chamfer and fillet command.

5. Rear wheel:-

Here we have used mirror, combine ,sweep,fillet, boss extrude , line circle and splines.

6. Chassis:-

Here we have used circular curve pattern,fillet , cut extrude,revolve, circle, line and angle commands.

7. Kickstand:-

Here we have used split, fillet , cut extrude, line , circle and spline.

8. Oil tank:-

Here we have used fillet, boss extrude,split, cut extrude,dome, line,ellips and spline.

9. Rear fender:-

Here we have used shell,fillet,combine,boss extrude and line commands.

Here we have used fillet, split and revolve,line and decals.

10. Gas tank:-

Here we have used shell,fillet,cut sweep,
knit,loft,spline,line and circle.

11. Front fender:-

Here we have used split, revolve and line.

12. Front wheel:-

Here we have used curve circular pattern,fillet,cut extrude,
line and circle.

13. Engine:-

Here we have used composite curve,sweep,boss extrude,
fillet,revolve,circular pattern,dome,cut extrude,chamfer,mirror,
combine,curve,line,circle and plane making

Conclusion:-Chopper is made with the help of these 13 parts by making tham mates with each other by coincident, tangent, offset and colinear by
making chasis fixed and making all parts allign with it and assemby planes also.
