Radar Mast & Final Assembly of Yacht

REPORT:-
Introduction:-
This project is about the 3D modeling of a Yacht using Solidwork software.
Objective:-
To get familiar with solid and surface modeling of Solidwork software.

Child parts details:-
1.Setup:-
First of all I have set up the base for making a model using its 5 face images from all sides covering our model.

- Hull:-
For making the hull, I have used revolve, boss extrude, mirror, split, cut extrude, surface loft, surface trim, surface fill, surface knit, fillet, chamfer, sweep, linear pattern, combine and projected curve commands.
Here I have used split command for making garage door cut separately. I have used an offset surface for a reference surface for superstructure. Then we applied appearance.

3.Superstructure:-
In the setup we used hull surface, here we have used surface lofting and projected curve, surface sweep, extrude the base/boss, ruled surface, trimming , knitting. We have used fillet, split line and dome features.
We have used offset for the reference.
Appearances:-

4.Radar mast:-
Here we used a reference surface from superstructure.I have used mirror, boss extrude, shell, fillet, dome, revolve, sweep and projected curve.

- Front Seat:-
For making the front seat we inserted a reference surface and used fillet, dome, surface sweep, surface extrude, surface fill, surface trim, surface loft, revolve, knit, cut extrude and dome.

6.Middle Seat:-
After inserting the hull surface for reference, we used cut extrude , boss extrude, fillet and chamfer.

- Rear Seat:-
After inserting Hull surface for reference, we have used surface loft, chamfer, fillet, revolve, mirror, surface sweep, surface trim, surface ruled, knit and cut extrude.

- Garage Door:-
Here we have used a cut body from an earlier used Hull solid model. We have used here cut extrude, mirror, fillet and shell command to make this model.
Appearance applied:-

- Propeller:-
To make propeller, we have used circular pattern, fillet, cut extrude, loft, revolve and cut extrude commands.
Appearance applied :-

- Radar:-
Here we have used fillet, cut extrude, split line, mirror, boss extrude and pattern command.

Assembly:-
To make Yatch , we have insert hull followed by super structure, radar mast, front seat, middle seat, rear seat, garage door, propeller and radar. We simply make mates such as coincide, concentric and distance relations to fix it.

Conclusion:-
Here we learn about surface modelling, part modelling, Assembly and Rendering features too.
