                                                                      FENDER DESING

OBJECTIVE : Objective of this project is to design and developed the fender and the mounting in different location. Need to understand the design consideration of will see the manufactuirng process for the fender.

INTRODUCTION :

A fender is the curved portion of the car's body that sits over and houses the wheels. The purpose of a fender Iis to keep mud, rocks, and other road debris from being thrown around by the tires. In other words, the fender is a housing for the wheels that keeps road debris contained. If there was nothing covering the wheels, all kinds of debris would be kicked up by the rotating tires.

In this project we are going to design :

• Drip Mount
• A-pillar Mount
• Bumper Mount
• sill -mount
• cowl

Design consideration and master section for the mount:

Mnufacturing Process for fender :

The manufacturing process includes the following steps that firstly, unfolding and shearing are carried out on a plate, wherein a proper cold roll specification is selected at first, a cold roll is unfolded, and then the unfolded cold roll is sheared to an iron plate of the corresponding size according to production .
