Drafting of various geometries using Chamfer, Fillet tool in AutoCad
Ans.1
AIM-:
Drawing the given geometries in the attached file using various command Like fillet trim, extend , chamfer, move copy, multiple point, divide, offset, dimalinded, dimlinear, dimcontinue, Point style etc..
below i discuss the procedure i follwed to complete the given geometries.
Drawing 1-
- open AutoCAD and used command UN to confirm the unit in decimal with precision of 0.00
- than type L for Line command and Make the ortho on Using F8 Key
- And drawn a line of Length 3 units
- Now Used divide command and select the and give the segment value 2
- Choose command L and Start a line with end point of the line with the angle taken 135 and drawn a line of length 2.12 unit
- continue the line command with angle 90 and given the length 2.83
- again continue the line command and put the cordinates @-2,0
- Continuing the line command and now close the geometry with the starting point
- Now taken the circle command and the curse move to the point where i divide the line in 2 segments and circle drawn with selecting the option Diameter from the command panel and give value 1.20
- Now taken move command and select the circle and take the base point as its center and give the cordinates @0,1
- Again two draw the small circle with diameter .8 previous commands used
- For dimesions following commands used
- Dimalined , Dimlinear , Dimdia, dimangle and also done the domension line and text height be adjusted.
- Ans.2
- Command UN and Change the units in Architecture and setup the precision
- Select line command and draw the line of length 8'
- Continuiung line command and given the cordinates @0,-1'9"
- Now escape and repeat command using Space Button
- and start the line from previous lines starting point and dive the length 2'5" when ortho on
- Now contniue the command start line with angle 45 and from y axis and length given2'10"
- Now line with 150 angle from Y axis of length 3' drawn and again line with 90 degree of length 2'6" drawn and closed the geometry
- for dimension previous commands used which was used in the drawing 1
Ans.3
UN Command and selected template as engineering and precision
Taken line command and drawn horizontal line of 5'0.1"
continuing line with vertical line length of 1'6.0"
now from first start point drawn a vertical line of '3'3.0"
than drawn horizontal line of 2'6.5"
and closed the Geometry
now Command point is taken and a point made on the line at a distance 1'3.0"
and than drawn a circle of Radius 1'6.0"
than move the circle by giving codinate 1'6.0" from base point taken at its center.
Ans4.
drafted by using line command by giving the following dimensions.
Procedure
start line command and given the length 2.5
than length of 2 downword and legth 3 right than 2.5 downword
followed same steps as written for the remaining drawing
Ans.5
- taken line command and drawn a line of length 11.50 horizontally
- than make offset at the distance of 6.00 in upward direction ortho on
- than create a line with both starting points of horizontal lines
- than offset the vertical line at a distance of 3.00, 8.50 and 11.50 on between
- harizontal lines
- now taken circle command and drawn a circle at midpoint taken as centerand drawn two circles of radius 0.5, and 1.0
- select both the circles and move With the giving cordinate as @1.5,0
- than copy both the circle and distance input as @8.50,0
- now again make a circle at midpoint of line and giving the radius of 1.50 and moved at a distance of 5.75 horzontally
- and than dimlinear and dimdia and dimradius commands used to show the dimensions.
Ans.6
used line and offset command
first drawn a line of length of 0.5 horizontally and than offset with the 0.5
Now a line of 1.0 drawn vertically and make 3
offset of 0.5
and offset of horizontal line of 1.0
same offset and line command used to draw remaining two geometries by projecting the line by extend command.
Ans.7
- a horzontal line drawn with length of 210
- than vetical lines from both the ends as 100 and 75mm
- Than fillet command used at corners by taking the radius option and given the value 15
- now make the offset of horzontal and vertical lines to create the rectangle of 70,30 using trim command
- and copy the rectangle and and cordinate given is 100,0 to a first base corner
- Now a circle drawn at 100mm length point of radius 35 and move horzontally by cordinate @35,0 by centre base point
- now from the circle center a circle is drawn of radius 25
- same procedure used at the 75mm lines end point to draw and than a line draw to trim the 35 mm @&25mm cirles as half
- now verical lines are drawn at end of circles and a line at the upper point of cirle of 15mm radius than at the coreneer fillet command use as taken radius 20&6mm
Ans.8
- two circles are drawn of diameter 5&4
- than male a line of 4.275 at right side and left side also from center poin horizontally
- and than from the tangent point of of both the circles of 5 diameter and .9 radius at both sides and than
- use fillet comand by givinf the radius .90
- erased and trimed waste lines.
Ans.9
- drawn circle of given radius and than i used blend command also to match the curves
- Ans.10
- drawn a square than offset it with suitable distance
- than copy somewhere both the squares and Rotate it with 45
- than move it with center and place at the previous square center
Ans.10
used line command with the distance and angles whereever needed
