Creating a Residence Layout, Seating plan, Toilet and Utility room plan using AutoCad

Challenge 1

Aim- To draft the given plan In AutoCAD by setting up the units in engineering template .

Pocedure-: To draft the given following procedure is done

fist define all layers used in the drafting like

Ext wall

Int wall

Door

Window

stairs

text

dimensions etc.

• first of all taken XL command and drawn to line on vertical and one horizontal
• Than offset command is used and given offset to the horzontal line is 43'6.5" and to vertical line the offset given 25'
• Than TRIM Command used for erase remaining lines
• now again offset command used with 9" offset to construct external wall offset of 9" taken innner side of the plan
• Trim command used to clear the walls crossings
• for making the door of different dimensions line of given dimensions drawn in vertical and horzontal direction than circle command used taking centerpoint at the junction and drawn a circle of radius as same as dimension of the doorthan remaining portion trimed and also used hath command.
• inner wall thickness taken 4.5"
• its not possible to define full procedure in written so i am attaching the CAD files also for your refrence.
• i define the procedure as much as i can .

Result - Output file of the given plan drafted in colored manner attached below.

Challange 2-

Aim- Drafing a seating plan for an outdoor canopy dimensions are taken suitably

Procedure -

• Drawn a cirlcle of 452 units than at same center again drawan a circle of radius 1398
• than XL Command taken and drawn one horizontal and a vertical line at the center
• than one seating is drawn by using Line, Fillet and offset command
• Than Mirror that in opposite direction and than copied in the other axis

Challange 3-

By msitake i have taken the wall thickness 225 mm i.e. 9 inch as usually used in the lectures i was remember
