Drafting of various geometries using Chamfer, Fillet tool in AutoCad

Q.1 Ans :

  • First take a start point at (4,4) in a line tool then draw a line of (3.00) in x-axis.
  • Then take a angel of 45 degree and draw another line of (2.12).
  • Then again take an angle of 135 degree after that draw a line of 2.83.
  • Then draw a line of 2.00 in x-axis.
  • Then close.
  • Now, draw a line for refrance of 2.50 in y-axis from the starting point then draw another line of 1.50 in x-axis then this how you will get the center of 1st circle od radius 0.40 and the same for another circle which is of 0.60 radius and then erase the line.
  • After that give the dimentions. Type DIMANGLE , dimradius and dim.

Q.2 Ans :

  • First change the units to Architectural.
  • After that take a starting point at (10,10).
  • Now, Draw a line of 8' in x-axis.
  • After that draw a line of 1'-9" in y-axis.

Q.3 . Ans :

  • Take first point as (4,4).
  • After that, Take an horizontal line of 5'-0.1".
  • After that take an vertical line of 1'-6.0".
  • Then take an angle of 145 degree.
  • Now take the line command again and draw another line from the starting point in vertical direction of 3'-3.0".
  • Then now draw an horizontal line of 2'-6.5".
  • Now joint ythe line or the angle will be 145 degree from other side and from inside it will be of 125 degree.
  • Now draw a refrance line of 1'-3.0" in horizontal from the start point and continueing that draw an line in vertical of 1'-6.0" for a refrance and draw an circle of dia 1'-6.0". And erase the refrance line.
  • After that give the dimentions to the fig.

Q.4 Ans:

0.

  • Take an start point of 4,4.
  • Now take an line of 3.00 in x-axis, after that draw an line of 0.50 in y-axis.
  • After that dtraw an line of 2.50 in x-axis.
  • Now draw an line of 2.50 in y-axis in upwards.
  • Now draw an line of 2.50 in x-axis in -ve direction.
  • Now draw an line of 3.00 in y-axis in +ve direction.
  • Now again draw an line of 2.50 in x-axis in -ve direction.
  • Now take an line of 2.00 in y-axis downward.
  • Now take an line in x-axis of 0.50 in x-axis .
  • An line of 3.00 in y-axis.

Q.5 Ans :

  • Take an start point at 4,4.
  • After that Draw an line of 5.75in x-axis.
  • Then draw a vertical line of 6.00 in y-axis at an distance of 3.00.
  • Now take an refrance line of 1.50 from the start point n of 3.00 in vertical n draw a circle of C1 of 1.00 dia n C2 of 2.00 dia.
  • Now erase the refrance line , Now mirror the object.
  • After that draw an circle in between of dia 3.00.

Q.6 Ans:

  • First select an line command then draw an line of 1.5 units.
  • Now take offset command and now give an offset of 0.5units.
  • Now similarly draw an vertical line from an side of the main line or the first line and now give an offset of 0.5.
  • After this select an trim command and now erase the line which are intersecting the 2 horizontal line.
  • Similarly for athor 2 dig.

Q.7 Ans :

  • Take an line tool draw an line of 100 units.
  • Then draw an circle of radius 25 in the left and 15 in right.
  • Then give the offset of 10 to the circle.
  • And also do fillet to the corner of the fig by the given radius.
  • After that draw an rectangle of given value and after that mirror it.

Q.8 Ans :

  • Draw a circle of dia 4.00 and another circle of dia 5.00.
  • Take a distance of 4.275 and draw another circle of dia 0.90.
  • Now draw another circle of radius 0.90 and after that draw an line by tangent line.
  • After that trim the half circle of 0.90 radius.

Q.9 Ans :

  • Draw an square of 10*10 after that give an offset of 0.5.
  • Now copy the fig and rotat the copied fig in 90 degree.
  • Now move the fig to one upon another and after that trim the line as shown.

Q.10 Ans:

  • Draw an line of 9' as per shown in fig.
  • To draw the angle at the start of the point give an angle <45 and <60 degree for angles.
  • draw an fig of 3' in the center then rotat it at 90 degree.
