Creation of geometries by Coordinate system methods using AutoCad

1. P1

• Absolute co-ordinate method :-

- Open the autocad

- Select the acad.dwt template

- Now, for line enter line command

- Now, specify (2,1) as the first point

- Now, for the completion of drawing following cordinates are entered as follows,

(2,7) -> (8,7) -> (8,6) -> (3,6) -> (3,2) -> (8,2) -> (8,1) -> close the shape.

• Relative co-ordinate method :-

- Open the autocad

- Select the acad.dwt template

- Now, for line enter line command

- Now, specify (2,1) as the first point

- Now, for the completion of the drawing following cordinates are entered as follows,

(@0,6) -> (@6,0) -> (@0,1) -> (@-5,0) -> (@0,-4) -> (@5,0) -> (@0,-1) -> close the shape.

• Direct method :-

- Open the autocad

- Select the acad.dwt template

- Now, for line enter line command

- Now, specify (2,1) as the first point

- Now, for the completion of the drawing put the marker in the direction in which the line is to be drawn and then enter the units.

- Now, specify (2,1) as the first point, Then select dimension and enter width 8 and then height 6.

- Now, Re-enter the "REC" command, then specify (3,2) as the first point, Then select dimension and enter width 2 and then height 3.

- Now, Re-enter the "REC" command, then specify (6,2) as the first point, Then select dimension and enter width 2 and then height 3.

- Now, for Circle enter "CIRCLE" command

- Now, specify (5,4) as the first point, Then enter 2 as the raidus value.
