Creation of geometries by Coordinate system methods using AutoCad

AIM: Create the geometry of given pictures in AutoCAD using all the Co-ordinates system methods.

INTRODUCTION:

There are 4 AutoCAD Co-ordinate system:-

i) Absolute Co-ordinate system.

ii) Relative Rectangular Co-ordinate system.

iii) Relative Polar Co-ordinate system.

iv) Direct Distance Entry.

i) Absolute Co-ordinates:- In this system, all input points specify in the drawing are with respect to origin (0,0).

ii) Relative Co-ordinates:- a) In this system, First point is entered with respect to origin (0,0) and all next points can be entered by specifying the next co-ordinate with respect to the first point.

b) The Relative Co-ordinate started with symbol "@". In Relative Rectangular Co-ordinate System, points entered by typing "@x,y" and Press Enter.

iii) Polar Co-ordinates:- a) It is used when we need to draw the next points at a specify angle.

b) It Specifies distance, Length at an angle.

c) Points Entered by Typing "@distance<angle" and press enter.

iv) Direct Distance Entry: a) It is the simple method of drawing, It enables to draw an object by pointing in a particular direction wiyh the cursor and entering a distance at the Command Box.

b) First point is entered with respect to origin (0,0) and then the cursor is move in the particular direction and distance is entered at command box.
