• Cone

• Region

• Boundry

introduction: AutoCAD consists of a number of drawing and modification tools. Among the modificationo Tolss are

chamfer, fillet, offset, object snap, rotate, copy, move, mirror, trim, entend and join Chamfer: A chamfer is an angled line that meets the endpoints of two straight 2D objects its a sloped transition between two surfaces or adjacent faces on a 3D solid. We type CHA for this tool in command bar

drafting a following tools by using following commands like, by using object snap elliptical command, by using arcs commands construction lines and ray tools, divide and measure tool, and by Using modity commands like mirror, trim, entand explode, lenghten, align, break and join command, and manage layers in autoCAD 2019

PROCEDURE:

change it to 3d modelling and click on the home button.

Opne AutoCAD, Click on workspace switching and near the view cube set the limits and zoom all. 1. DRAWING OF 3D FURNITURE ELEMENT:

AIM: To create a 3D model of the furniture element.

Procedure:

STEP: 1

• Opne AutoCAD, click on workspace switching and change it to 3d modelling and click on the home button near the view cube. Set the limits and zoom all

. STEP: 2

• Creata a box by clicking from the toolbar or box command, click on length, give the length as 3 and widht as 2'6". Height is to be specified, give the height as 2'6"

STEP: 3

• Select the front face, command ucs give the x and y

coordinate points to horizontally and vertically.

• Draw a line of 2" from the right side of the front view. By rectangle command draw a rectangle of dimention 32" & 2'4" STEP: 5

• Move the rectangle to line drawn earlier 2" from the right of the face.

STEP: 6

• Delete the line created earlier. Now with command 3do orbit the object and select the rectangle.

STEP: 7

• Dimentions are given by dim linear command by switching the UCS.

RESULT:

• The 3d model of furniture element is created.

2. 3D MODEL OF ISOLATED FOOTING

AIM: To create a 3D model of isolate footing

Procedure:

STEP: 1

• Create a rectangle of 2*2' on the top view. Create a another rectangle in IT on the top view.

STEP: 2

• With command 3do 3d orbit the view to a suituate one.

STEP: 3

• Select the front face, command ucs give the x and y

coordinate points to horizontally and vertically.

STEP: 4

• Draw a line of 2" from the right side of the front view. By rectangle command draw a rectangle of dimention 32" & 2'4"

STEP: 5

• Move the rectangle to line drawn earlier 2" from the right of the face.

STEP: 6

• Delete the line created earlier. Now with command 3do orbit the object and select the rectangle.

STEP: 7

• Dimentions are given by dim linear command by switching the UCS.

RESULT:

• The 3d model of furniture element is created.

3. 3D MODEL OF A AASTHO TYPE GIRDER

AIM: To create a 3d model of AASTHO type girder using

Auto CAD 3D

Procedure:

STEP 1:

Click on front view. Use UCS Command and make the x and y axis in the front view plane.

STEP 2:

• Then by line command draw the I Section with the given dimentions. Command L Draw a line of 1' that top widhth of the girder.

STEP 3:

• Give a taper distance and join the web and the flange. Mirror the same on the other side

STEP 4:

• Extend the web to the offsite line. Again offset 6" from the

last line and taper the sides.

STEP 5:

• Extetnd the 6" offsite line and trim the rest of lines. Draw the vertical line Downwards and the tapering.

STEP 6:

• With 3d Orbit turn the view and draw a line of 10' in z direction. Click on sweep from the home toolbar and select the section and, then the path through which the section to be swept. i.e. the line.

4. 3D MODEL OF A DROP COLUMN WITH PANEL AIM: To draw the 3d model of a drop column with panel section and show its isomatric view.

STEP 1:

• Create a circle of diametre 1'6" in the top view.

STEP 2:

• Create a region-by-region command and select the rectangle. Extrude it with extrude in home toolbar and give a distance of 10'

STEP 3:

• Create a once by clicking from the home toolbar. Click

on diameter and give the base diameter as 1'6".

STEP 4:

• Click on top radius and give the value as 1'6" and give the height of the cone as 1".

STEP 5:

• Place the frustum of cone on top of the extruded circle.

STEP 6:

In top view, create a rectangle of dimention 4'6"*4'6". Extrude it to a height of 6"

STEP 7:

• In the top view, place the rectangle at the center of c adjust in the front view or give move command anc the coordinates as 0,10,0 as the rectangle is t bottom.. the front view.

5. 3D MODEL OF WALL

AIM: To draw a 3d model of wall

Procedure:

STEP 1:

• Draw a rectangle of 10' 9'. Create a line in the center and offset 1.5" on both sides as 3" is the width of door opening.

STEP 2:

• Use the command BO for boundary and create the region, both the region on either side of the door opening.

STEP 3:

• Extrude the region to a height of 126 total height

STEP 4:

• Create a rectangle in place of door in the top view. Move the rectangle in Z axis at height of 7' from the bottom.

STEP 5:

• Go to front view abd draw a line from the centre of the moved line of door. Draw slanting line from the total height from the center line intersecting the edge.

STEP 6:

• Mirrior the line to the other side. Draw the horizontal line to join.

STEP 7:

Trim the excess line and the center line and join the triangle with the join command. STPE 8:

• Select the extruded rectangle and with the help of grip bring it down to the level of the triangle base on both sided. Extrude the rectangle of Door of a height equal to base pf Triangle.
