Creating Kitchen layout, Hatching of Architectural elements and sectional view of an Industrial Building in AutoCad
AIM:
Create the layouts of the Kitchen and provide hatches pattern as shown. Also, use blocks wherever required. Provide appropriate dimensions in the plan. Assume the size of doors, appliances and others as per the standards using AutoCAD

INTRODUCTION:
Kitchen layout is the most important part of the designing our kitchen. Its the layout that will determine how we cook eat and socialize

PROCEDURE:
STEP 1:
BELOW THE COUNTER
Firstly type L for line coomand and specify a point and then draw the line horizontally of length 4300 mm
Draw another line from the previous line of length 3200 mm
Taking previous line as refrence draw another line of length 4300 mm horizontally backwards at the top
Join the first line and the last line which we have drawn previously

Now offset the four sides with the offset 20mm outside
Next we have to offset the line inside with the length 600 mm including the fridge.
Afterwards we draw the fridge separately with other dimensions in the kitchen layout
Next we need to draw the line opposite side to create the parts of kitchen
Next divide the seven parts downsides with different dimensions compared to the upper side portion
Leave the space left and riht corners with the length of 35 mm at the top and bottom
Next put the dimensions for the every part in the drawing
Next indicate the door as D2
Now we have to use a single text command and indicated the parts where ever required with single text command
Type DIMLIN and put dimensions in everypart
Next draw a counter or slab with length of 600 mm and width 900 mm
Draw the hub in the middle at the bottom of the kitchen
Now create the windows using the line command and trim the remaining parts or lines

Put the elements in the respective layers

STEP 2:
ABOVE THE COUNTER PLAN
Firstly we have to draw the line horizontally with lngth 4300 mm
Next draw another line from the previous line with the length of 3200 mm vertically upwards
Next again draw another line from the previous line with the length of 4300 mm horizontally backwards
Next we have to join the first and last line which we have drawn previously

Next offset the four sides with the distance of 20mm outside
Next we have to offset the lines inside with the offset command with the length 350 mm and again we do the offset of 600 mm on the same side
Now leave the space for both side corners with the length 35 mm
Do the offset in inside walls with the distance 10 mm for all sides of all parts
Next we have to do the offset of 350 mm at the bottom portion into five parts and again offset them with the distance 10 mm
Next we have to use the different hatch styles to hatch the walls in the kitchen layout
Now we have to draw the doors using the line command, circle command, circle command and trim command
Next we have to draw the windows using line command
Trim the extra lines
Now we have to use a single text command and indicated the parts where ever required with single text command
Type DIMLIN and put dimensions in everypart
Next draw a counter or slab with length of 600 mm and width 900 mm
Draw the hub in the middle at the bottom of the kitchen
Now create the windows using the line command and trim the remaining parts or lines

Put the elements in the respective layers

2.AIM
Create the elevation of the plan created in the Challenges 7 and apply proper hatch in the walls, doors, windows, and other architectural elements. Refer to the dimensions in Plans and sections in Challenges 7.

INTRODUCTION:
An “elevation” is a drawing that shows the front or side of something. A floor plan, by contrast, shows a space from above – as if you are looking down on the room from the ceiling. Thus, you see the tops of everything, but you cannot view the front, side or back of an object. An elevation gives you the chance to see everything from the other viewpoints.
Without elevation drawings, you cannot see the details of your new cabinetry, the size of each drawer or the location of each cabinet. A floor plan simply cannot communicate all of this information adequate

PROCEDRE
STEP 1
First we have to open the AutoCAD and set the limits
Next we use the zoom command and press enter
Comming to the drawing the elevation of the residential bulding first we draw the horizontal line using the line command with the length of 11574 mm
Next we need to draw the another line from the previous line vertically with the length of 1200 mm

Nex draw the line horizontally backwards from previous line with the length of 12150 mm at the top
Next draw the line downwards vertically with the length of 12000 mm by drawing the last line the rectangle will be formed
Next we draw the rectangle at the top of the building
And again we draw the another rectangle on the pevious rectangle with the lengths given in the drawing
Next we draw the three rectangles at the bottom of rectangle with different dimensions
STEP 2
Draw the sunshades provided in the drawing
Draw the windows with the standard construction dimensions withthe help of line command and arc command

Draw the balcony part using the line command offset command and trim command

Next we draw the remaining architectural elements using the line command, rectangle command and offset command
Now use a Single text command to enter the text downside the elevation

STEP 3
Use the hatch command to hatch the walls, doors windows and other architectural elements

3.AIM
Create the section view of an industrial building as shown in Figure. Provide appropriate hatches and dimensions wherever required. Also, provide annotations to the drawing.

INTRODUCTION:
Section drawings are a specific type of drawing architects use to illustrate a building or portion of a building. A section is drawn from a vertical plane slicing through a building. This is as if you cut through a space vertically and stood directly in front looking straight at it. Sections are a common design drawing and technical architectural or engineering convention for graphic representation of architecture.

X Line

Line weight command
Line type command

STEP 1:
First draw the X Line at any point on the screen
Next offset the line to the top to a distance of 5850 mm and we have to do offset of last offset line to the distance of 300 mm to the top
Next we have to draw the vertical X Line on any point on the horizontal line
Next do the offset of line to the right to a distance of 10635 mm
Next offset the last line with a distance 3900 mm to the right
Next offset the first line with the distance of 5740 mm to the right side
Next do the offset for the last line with the distance of 5025 to be right side
Offset the left and right edges with the distance 500 mm
Next we have to trim the outer edges using the trim command
Next offset the bottom edges of the top floor to a distance of 30 mm
Now offset the last line with a distance of 100 mm to the bottom
Next we draw the sprinkler pipe along wwith the duct pipe
Duct pipe thickness is 300 mm and thickness of sprinkler pipe is 100 mm
Next we draw the manhole cover with the thickness of 750 mm at the right top edge of the filter feed walls
Now draw the thickness of pump room slab with the different layers using the line command

STEP 2
Use the hatch command to hatch the walls and floor slabs

STEP 3:
Put the elents in the respective layer

STEP 4
Next we need to use the single text command to enter the text whereever required in the section view of industrial drawing

STEP 5
Use DIMLIN to put the dimensions whwre ever required

STEP 6
Next we draw the circle of radius 500 mm by typing C in the command prompt
Enter the text in the circle typing MTEXT in the command prompt
