Challenge

Creating Kitchen layout, Hatching of Architectural elements and sectional view of an Industrial Building in AutoCad

Ans 1.

Aim :- Create the layouts of the Kitchen and provide hatches pattern in Figures in AutoCAD.

Introduction :- Create the layouts of the Kitchen and provide hatches pattern as shown. Also, use blocks wherever required. Provide appropriate dimensions in the plan. Assume the size of doors, appliances and others as per the standards.

Procedure :-

  • First draw the below counter plan
  • Rectangle of 4300X3200 mm is drawn and offset of 230mm as wall thickness towards outside
  • Now draw left cabinet and refridgerator
  • Take offset of 1000mm and startd drawing slab shown in the quaestion of cabinet below
  • Offset of 600mm for cabinet below microwave oven is drawn of 20mm
  • offset of 600mm for cabinet, give 20mm inside offset and 10 mm offset for thickness
  • From 600mm offset give an offset of 450mm for A1
  • Again give offset of 300mm for A2, A3, A4
  • From that give another offset of 900mm for A5 , A6, A7
  • Draw 35mm offet from right side from hinged and give thickness of 20mm
  • Now, draw the right cabinet and hob
  • Give 35mm offset to left and create hinge
  • For width of cabinet give 600mm offset and give 20mm inside offset and 10mm offset for the thickness
  • From 35mm give 900mm offset
  • Give another offet of450 mm from 9000offset and agin at distance of 900mm give an offset
  • Offset a distance 450mm three times from previous offset
  • From right side offset 35mm for hindge and rest distence will be 630mm which shows the top of cabinet
  • Hob is drawn by circle and rectaangle tool of third cabinet
  • Draw snack counter
  • Copy wall above counter plan
  • Copy wall below counter plan
  • Draw right counter
  • Draw width width of 350mm from the wall inside offset of 20mm
  • Offset distence of35mm from left side of wall
  • Now offset 450mm for top of cabinet
  • Offset 900mm 3 times next cabinet
  • draw left counter
  • From left side of wall take 35mm offet
  • Now draw 600mm offset as width from horizontal wall
  • Draw 10mm offset to show the door
  • From 35mm hinge offset 965mm to right A11
  • For A12 Take an offset of 600mm
  • Take an offset of 35mm from right
  • Rest distance of 2665 which divide into 3 equal parts A13, A14, A15
  • Now offset of 20mm sides division and also mm in front for doors
  • Offset mm in backside for thickness
  • Create doors, sliding doors, and windows
  • Insert text by using multiline text of 75mm size and style -roman.shx.
  • Dimension all the object using deimension tool

Aim :- Create the elevation of the plan created in the Challenges 7 and apply proper hatch in the walls, doors, windows, and other architectural elements. in Figures in AutoCAD.

Introduction :- Create the elevation of the plan created in the Challenges 7 and apply proper hatch in the walls, doors, windows, and other architectural elements. Refer to the dimensions in Plans and sections in Challenges 7.

Procedure :-

  • OPen the drawing in AutoCAD
  • Open the file of week and where plan is made
  • Extend the construction line from evey wall, windows, staircase , ventilaors, chajja(elevation from section BB)
  • Trim extra lines where lines are not required
  • Draw the frame of window with the help of line and arc command
  • Type BL in the command prompt and select the frame
  • Select the point and name it as frame and save
  • From inset option insert the block and place it at every window
  • Select the hatch option and select pattern and select the brick
  • Click the wall where hatching is to be done
  • Select doors
  • Right cick on hatch and change the properties and select the size of hatch pattern
  • Elevation is obtained and hatch is done
  • Do the dimensioning wherever required
  • Using the multiline text, insert the text in the drawing

Aim :- Create the section view of an industrial building as shown in Figure in AutoCAD.

Introduction :- Create the section view of an industrial building as shown in Figure. Provide appropriate hatches and dimensions wherever required. Also, provide annotations to the drawing.

Procedure :-

  • OPen the drawing in AutoCAD
  • Type UN in command box and select decimal and precision to zero
  • Type limits in command prompt and specify the lower and upper points
  • Z enter a enter, now we are ready for the drafting work
  • Draw a line with ortho mode on 25300 in X direction
  • Draw a line with ortho mode on 5850 in Y direction
  • type offset and do the offset as 230 and selct the line left side of vertical line
  • Draw line in X direction 25300 with top line
  • Type offset and give offset of 300
  • Draw line in X direction 25300 with top line
  • Type offset and give offset of 300
  • Draw line in vertical and do offset of 200
  • Type offset and give an offset of 300 horizontal line for duct
  • Type offset and give an offset of 200 from bottom horizontal line for duct
  • Type offset and give an offset of 100from topline for sleeve sprayer
  • Trim all extra lines and if not trimmed delete the non neede lines
  • Join all the lines
  • Slect the point at lower left and type @1000<180
  • Now type @500<270, @2000<0, @3300<90, @17055<0, @300<270, @5045<0, @500<90, @300<270, 25850<90
  • Type offset and give offset of 230
  • Join all the missing lines and trim extra lines
  • Slect the hatch command and go to pattern and selct concrete and do the hatching wherever is required
  • select the line command and draw the sprayer
  • Selct the leader command and selct the sprayer and maek as a block and then insert the block whatever needed
  • Do the dimension using dimension command
  • Insert circle and copy paste whaterver is necessary and needed as per the question figure
  • Do the finishing by join command to the lines, and join the lines
