Creating Conceptual mass in REVIT and Creation of Sinusoidal curve and a Parametric stadium using Dynamo

1) Dynamo is real time working software to create complex designs using nodes, coordinates and parameters. For a sinusoidal curve first create 3 integer sliders for start and end. Link them to a range box with start point first , end point second and step to the third one. Create two point coordinates ad link them to code block. Add product block to code block and point coordinates. CReate next point for sine curve, link that to the product. now create two nub curves and link it to the list. Last finish it to the surface point . The basic pattern is to first create points, and then the surface. Assign its values accordingly.

2) Create floor in dynamo. First assign sliders so that four point coordinates can be created . Link the sliders appropriately with first X and second Y then form curves line by start and end point . Therefore , points and curves are created , next step to build walls. Create list for all four curves. Link that item box to wall height slider, wall type, level associated. Then next step is to build floor by outline and level.Assign apppropriate level , floor type and link them to all the walls.

3) Array is a set of same elements working together. Create some elements in revit file. Select all the elements , open dynamo, link then with blocks such as multiple model elements, interger slider to change the range of the property. To rotate any element use family instance rotation and link all of them appropriately. Can check the desired deisgn in revit file at the same time.

4) Open a revit file in conceptual mass to design some complex curves. Use spline model line and create a curve. Set workplanes on its point and assign a polygon shape to it. Form a soild layout, by first selecting the curve then the polygon. Change the patterns from the properties browser as needed.

5) To design a paramteric stadium first specify the no. of levels and floor height. Link them to code block. Add range to length ,breadth, top and bottom rotation. Then add coordinates , specify widhth-length to form curves. Then add code block to rotation. next step is to create geometry link all the axis , origin ,rotation and curves. Last step is to create surface and connect to the geometry. Change the dimensions and specifications as needed.
