PROJECT 2

AIM

To create Architectural and Structural model with 3D rendering using REVIT

INTRODUCTION

1. The type of structure to build is Office Building

2. Geographic and location details - Modeling requirements from NBC

  1. Geographic and location details: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India (Flat surface topograpgy)
  2. The modeling requirements from NBC based on assumptions are:
    1. The open space around the building shall not be less than 4.5m.
    2. The type of construction is taken as type 2 construction, the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) value for the business building shall be taken as 2.9.
    3. The plot size is taken as 45mx45m i.e, 2025m2 and individual floor area is 1080m2. Hence, FAR value obtained is 2.66, which is within the prescribed limits as per NBC.
    4. The width of the road abutting the building is taken as 9m.
