Creating a Layout, Section and Elevation with dimensions using AutoCad

1. Create the Plan and Sections as shown in the Figures. Use proper dimension techniques and dimension styles to document the project. Assume the sizes of the doors and windows as per construction standards. Refer to sections for stair details if required.

Aim: To create a flooring plan , section and elevation of a residential layout

Step:1) Create a drawing with Decimal units in millimeters.

Step:2) Create Dimension & text style. with layers

Step:3) Create block for door & windows

Step:4) Draw the floor layout plan

Step:5) Skecth the sectionA-A & Section B-B from plan using Construction lines & Trim options

Result: Plan & sectiosn of a residential layout was created
