Challenge 8 : Concept Modeling of Seats

Concept Modeling of Seats

  1. Objective :-To create proper curve network and further devlop surfaces to form a car seat
  2. Introduction :- A conceptual model is a representation of a system. It consists of concepts used to help people know, understand, or simulate a subject the model represents. It is also a set of concepts. In contrast, physical models are physical objects, such as a toy model that may be assembled and made to work like the object it represents. Here we are design the seat by using blueprint.
  3. Design methodology / approach :-
  4. Description :-

Procedure:-

1st we import the canvas image in orthographic plane.

then we make as diamension box to understand size of seats.

we start building the curve network as per visualization of canvas image and create the surfaces.

we make front side 1st then we make back side

after these we create headrest and bottom of seat.

Feacheres used:-

pick object

pick nothing

pick curves

pick surfaces

surfaces :- skin, fblend, sqare , fillets and ms draft

curves:- cv curves and blend curves

surface edit:- project, trim-untrim, intersect,

object edit:- aligned, extend.

Conclusion:-

during this assignment we learned how to create 3D design using 2D canvas image.
