Benchmarking is a predesign & development process. Benchmarking is a process of measuring performance or quality of company’s products in market and improves one’s own product. This is an initial step for a designing process.
In automobile industries benchmarking can be done by following aspects.
- Car Body type (Like Hatchback, Sedan, SUV)
- Between competitors
- Between Price range and performance
