1. Benchmarking:

In automobile industry to develop vehicle benchmarking is the first step.

Benchmarking is the comparison between similar product, process and services

For Ex,

We will take Example of MRF tyres and JK tyres

MRF is one of the leading Company for manufacturing of tyres, MRF tyres having good grip on road so JK tyres will compare their tyres design with MRF tyres design to achieve good grip better than MRF Tyres. As they will achieve good grip & their sale of tyre also increases. 

 

2. Suggestion to Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii for Vehicle:

Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii visite Madurai once in month and he will also use his car for going to office, as per his requirementsWe compere Top four vehicle under 10 lakhs. These cars are Tata Altroz, Nissan Magnite, WAGON R and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

1. TATA Altroz:

• Price is 7.50 lakhs
• Good space And Comfort seating arrangements
• One of the best for safety
• Mileage is 15-19 kmpl on highway and 14 kmpl in city

    b. Maruti Suzuki WagonR:

• Price is 6.5 lakhs
• Quite good space and comfort seating arrangements
• Gives two air bags
• Mileage is 26-32 kmpkg on highway and 25 kmpkg in city for CNG

    c. NISSAN Magnite:

• Price is 7 lakhs
• Good space And Comfort seating arrangements
• Magnate has 4 star rating for safty
• Mileage is 17-20 kmpl on highway and 13 in city kmpl

   d. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga:

• Price is 8.5 Lakhs
• Best comfortable seating arrangements and best space
• It gives two air bags in base model
• Mileage is 22-26 kmpkg on highway and 20 kmpkg on road for CNG

I compare four cars Tata Altroz, Nissan Magnite, WAGON R and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga under 10 lakhs. i will select car as per following priorities: -

• Mileage of car
• Safety of car
• price of car
• Seating arrangement and comfort   

1) I took Mileage as first priority because he have travel to his native place Madurai which is 500 km from bangalore and go to office every day. So in mileage Maruti Suzuki WagnoR- is best option

2) I took safety of car as a second priority because he and his family have to travel Madurai far from home.

In safety TATA Altroz is best car as Altroz Achieve 4 star in safety

3) I took Price of car as a third priorty because his budget is around 8 lakhs to 10 lakhs.

If Price consider best cars are as per sequence Maruti Suzuki WagnoR-6.5Lakhs, Nissan Magnite-7 lakhs, Tata Altroz-7.5lakhs, and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga-8.5lakhs.

4) I took Seating arrangement and comfort as fourth priority because to travel 500 km need around 10hrs -12hrs to travel and his family definitely need good seating arrangement and feel comfort

After Putting needs & all the priorities in mind I found Maruti Suzuki WagnoR is best car for Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii

     3. Conclusion:-

Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii can travel economically in Maruti Suzuki WagnoR and most Important factor is less pollution because he has to use car daily for office, As using of CNG car it will not make more pollution than Petrol and Diesel cars. And Mileage of car is better than other cars under 10 lakhs, also it is comfortable for travelling 500 km continuously. Safety is also understanding in selection of car and the best car for safety is TATA Altroz but Considering all factor and safety also best car is Maruti Suzuki WagnoR.
