Benchmarking
BENCHMARKING:
- Benchmarking involves a structured comparison between similar products, services or processes on some dimensions of performance. For example it can be used to compare the availability and delivery of features in a product and in this form often provides the basis of consumer tests and reviews. These look at products and services and provide recommendations based on which is best or some form of ranking amongst competitors.
- Basically, comparision of what is already there in the market and how to implement the plus points on our own new product, this is called as Benchmarking.
- Benchmarking 1 is used to define the competitors and comparing the price, specifications and features on the segments, whereas
- Benchmarking 2 is used to component wise comparision from the competitors vehicle of every individual components.

Verdict:
- Above is the my collections of data for the five different cars. Every car having some positives and negatives as well no car manufacture can satisfy the 100% with his limit of budget. KIA Sonet ticks on most of the checklists but a major disadvantages is price range. With ford ecosport providing the least interior space and safety features, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Briezza and TATA Nexon facing issues with mileage and mr. Pughazhyendhii might have to prefer the lower end to satisfy his budget and might lack premium interiors features, Maruti Suzuki S cross sigma have now new petrol variant but a major disadvanges being outdated but surely the best at this price range, if Mr. Pughazhyendhii doesn’t mind much about his tradeoff with the car being outdated, Maruti Suzuki S cross sigma would be the best one to go for and if he doesn’t cares more about his mileage, and good customer service and an astonishing deisgn KIA Sonet would be a wise choice to go for.
- As per my recommendation KIA Sonet is a perfect car for Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii, Because of the Mileage advantage over other cars, some cool features and adequate safety features for his family.
