What is Benchmarking?
Benchmarking involves a structured comparison between similar products, services, or processes on some dimensions of performance. For Example, it can be used to compare the availability and delivery of features in a product and in this form often provides the basis of consumer tests and reviews. These look at products and services and provide recommendations based on which is best or some form of ranking amongst competitors. Here we are benchmarking few cars based on the give case study.

Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii is a married man who lives in Bangalore which is a highly crowded city. His Family comprises five members including his wife, five-year-old boy, his father, and his mother. He visits his native place Madurai which is 500kms away from Bangalore once in a month. Also, he will be using his car to commute to his office. His budget falls between 8 to 10 lakhs on road. Select the car according to your daily use. Servicing and maintenance are quite good but it needs to be better. Cons is that the sunroof is a little bit smaller and the spear wheel is 1 size smaller than the original ones. And auto rain wipers should be provided and rear wipers too. It is a heavy competition between the venue and the Tata Nexon. The overall performance is good of Kia sonet. |
Real road partner, no worry... Its performance is beyond the mark, if you drive with all caution you can get average upto 17kmpl, it always be my partner in road. You only need to service on time and enjoy the ride. |
It's a masterpiece It's a very nice car... I love to drive it... It feels too safe while driving this car. I just love this car. The fuel efficiency is so good.. Built quality is great. Design is also very nice.. Overall its a masterpiece. |
So to conclude it, I by say that, accourding to my suggesstions, I would recomment to go with kia sonnet or renault kiger. Cause they have a great build quality. Both have turbocharged engine. They have a quite big bootspace to have more storage. They have good performance, sonet have more performance than kiger, but kiger have a good milage range and it is like more compacted in size when compared with sonet. Both have great features and good in safety too and have great storage.
