Benchmarking : It is process of comparing similar products, process and services which are already available in market and taking their positive points /features to improve your product, process and service.

Benchmarking Report:

1. Bangalore is Highly crowded city for this Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii need compact 5 seater car.

2. He wants to commutes office daily and visit to his native place once in a month (500kms).

3. Budget is 8 to 10 lakhs.

4. He is also fond of big cars.

Benchmarking :

Below are my findings:

1. Performance: Tata-Nexon has better Torque in less RPM as compared to other 5 cars mentioned above. Mileage comparison shows that Kia -Sonet is better than other cars. Nexon is little behind of Kia-Sonet .

2. Transmission: Only TATA-nexon has 6 gears alongwith multi drive modes, Sports(max punch), Eco(fuel efficiency) and City(daily commute) . Rest all other cars have 5 gears.

3. Space and comfort :Boot space of Kia Sonet is higher. Other Cars has average boot space. Tata Nexon have enough rear leg room to sit 3 people comfortably. Ground clearence of Nexon is good for Indian roads. Tata Nexon has rear Ac vents for rear passengers.

4. Safety: In terms of Safety TATA- Nexon outstands all other cars.Honda Jazz has 4 star rating. All car have the ABS and EBD and dual airbags systems except Kia Sonet has 4 air Bags.

Nexon’s high-strength steel structure absorbs impact energy and protects the passenger during an unfortunate collision.

Conclusion: In the above comparison, I found TATA -Nexon to be the most suitable car for Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii and his family.
