1) The Single Cylinder Spark Ignition engine was run at 1800 rpm and the required results are mentioned below.

a) Air Flow Rate and BSFC:

Air Flow Rate = 24.6 kg/h

BSFC = 239.2 g/KW-h

b) Brake Mean Effective Pressure:

BMEP = 9.5 bar.

c) In Cylinder Pressure:

In-Cylinder Pressure = 48.89 bar.

2) The normal power output obtained by running the setup is mentioned below:

BP (Normal) = 22.4 hp.

Changing the following values provided the required result:

Injector delivery rate - 6>8

Air-Fuel ratio - 14.5>12

Inlet (Environment) air pressure - 1>1.07

Obtained BP = 24.8 hp.
