Choose the use profile as Hypermesh Radios. Click on Open. Use the geometry color mode and choose by Auto Mode. The component appears in wireframe mode. Change it o surface. At LHS we get the no. of component which we have to mesh. Here we have to we have to create component according to given geometry. namely Geometry…

Eg. Target Element Size= 5 as shown in picture.
E.g. Min/ Max Size of element, Aspect ratio, Warpage, Min/Max Quad angle, Skewness etc
Now we have to remove the fillets from the surface geometry as the surface fillet can cause the element failure in various ways. The mainly we want to remove the fillets from the rib surface.
As the thickness of part 1 is uniform at every cross section we can use the auto mid surfacing.
Now select the manual mid surface option and hit the mid surface.
Conclusion: Elements violating threshold are zero. So the quality of mesh is good. And we can decide good mesh quality based on the mesh flow as well. So below figure shows the good mesh flow. So we can conclude the meshing is of good quality.
Similarly we have to do the meshing for all the parts and follow the procedure to get good meshing.
We have to do the same procedure for other parts.
Conclusion:

Week 6 - CHT Analysis on a Graphics card
Objective: To perform a steady state conjugate heat transfer analysis on a model of graphics card. Introduction :The term conjugate heat transfer (CHT) describes the process which involves variation of temperature within solids and fluids, due to thermal interaction between the solids and fluids, the exchange of thermal…

Week 5 - Rayleigh Taylor Instability
Rayleigh Taylor Instability INTRODUCTIONThe Rayleigh–Taylor instability, is the instability of an interface between two fluids of different densities which occurs when the lighter fluid is pushing the heavier fluid with the effect of gravity. Here we have prepared a model with two surfaces on over the above and considered…
