Objective
- Design Metal Bracket by using NXCAD, Sheetmetal NXCAD Software.
Introduction
- NX CAD is a 3D modelling software. In addition, it consists of Sheetmetal, surface modelling as well as drafting option. NXCAD is specially known for it is Sheetmetal application since it has various features and tools to design Sheetmetal.
Design Methodology
Metal Bracket
Features Used
- Contour Flange is used to extrude an open sketch to convert into a sheet metal.
- Break corner is used to round the corner of the sheet metal.
- Advance Flange is used to create a flange using a bend or curve sketches.
- Normal Cutout is used to cut a sheet metal using sketch.
- Unbend is used to make a flat view of the bend sheet metal.
- Rebend is used to bring sheet metal in its original form from flat view.
