Advanced Sheet Metal Design of Bracket using NX Cad

Objective

To design a Bracket using Simens NX cad

Description

The sketch was drawn using XY plane as shown in figure

Contour flange was used to produce the surface based on the profile as shown in Figure

Unbend, rebend and normal cutout is used to remove the portion of the surface as given in Figure

And the break corner is used to remove the sharp edges as shown in Figure

In order to put a bead in the surface initially the surface was unbend and bead was inserted and again the rebend command is used to restore the surface as shown in Figure

Finally, the screw hole was inserted for fastening as shown in the figure
