design a ‘Sheet Metal Casing’ using Siemens NX Sheet Metal Application.

Recommended workflow to create a simple part
Sketch the shape
Sketch the shape of the base feature, or use an existing sketch or section.
Construct the base feature
Construct the base feature to define the part's shape.This base feature is normally a Tab, but you can also create a Contour Flange or a Lofted Flange.
Add features
Add features such as Flanges, Jogs, or Bends, to further define the shape of the formed sheet metal part
Unbend and add punch features or cutouts
Unbend the bend areas where needed, and place Holes, Cutouts, Beads, Dimples, or Louver features on the part.
Create a Flat Pattern
Create a Flat Pattern of the part for drafting and later manufacturing.
