1) Based on the project saved from Week 3, proceed from the First Floor Level. Model a Ceiling from the architecture tab above the walls at the first-floor level
Ans :
Aim : Based on the project saved from Week 3, proceed from the First Floor Level. Model a Ceiling from the architecture tab above the walls at the first-floor level
Procedure :
- an architectural drawing, drawn to scale, that shows visible objects located on the ceiling of a room or space.
- First open the revit file and select the ceiling option the architecture toolbar .

- After that select the each room and for the ceiling .
- Ceiling as to be created .

Result :

2) Model a roof above the ceiling by selecting the footprints of the ceiling. Using the adjustment toolbars appearing on-screen adjust the roof slope to 10 degrees
Aim : Model a roof above the ceiling by selecting the footprints of the ceiling. Using the adjustment toolbars appearing on-screen adjust the roof slope to 10 degrees
Procedure :
- Roof is a covering the top of a building and it protect from the rain ,snow, sunlight, wind and temperture.
- Roof have to be constructed in a wide varitey of forms flat , pitched , vauled , domed or in combinations
- Roof are usually set at a slope , or pitch so that rainfall could drain off them .
- Open the architeture toolbar , and select the roof by footprint option

- Next we select the roof and adjust the roof to 10degrees by selecting it
- The roof as to be created

Result : The Roof has created successfully to the model .

3) Using the file saved from weeks 2 to 4, create plan views for ground floor level and first-floor level including all the walls, floors, and components. Separate them to
architecture and structural plans
Aim : Using the file saved from weeks 2 to 4, create plan views for ground floor level and first-floor level including all the walls, floors, and components. Separate them to architecture and structural plans
Procedure :
- Structural plan view is the basic plan view of the structure of the building with only having the floor and walls of the plan
- Architeture Plan shows every details in the floor plan as per the requriment in the building

- Frist draw the architeture Floor for the first floor and ground for the building
- First select the view from the toolbar of the architeture
- From the floor plan we get the architeture plan of the model

- In the view and select the structure Plan then we can see the walls and structure of the model

Result : Created the ground floor and first floor level including the wall ,floor and components .And Separated the architecture and structural plan .

4) Using annotate toolbar add dimensions to all the walls and floors with reference to the longitudinal and transverse grids created in the project file
a. The architecture plan dimensions include details on where the components are placed within the buildings with relation to grids. Overall dimensions are sufficient for architecture plans
b. The Structure plan dimensions must include details on the position of all the walls and interior walls with reference to grids. Locate all the framing components of the building with reference to a fixed point using Structural plans
Aim:
Using annotate toolbar add dimensions to all the walls and floors with reference to the longitudinal and transverse grids created in the project file
Procedure :
a. The architecture plan dimensions include details on where the components are placed within the buildings with relation to grids. Overall dimensions are sufficient for architecture plans
- Select the dimension line from the annotate toolbar as select the linear or aligned dimension
- And Give the dimension for the each room and hole dimension using the linear dimension for the architeture plan

b. The Structure plan dimensions must include details on the position of all the walls and interior walls with reference to grids. Locate all the framing components of the building with reference to a fixed point using Structural plans
- Select the dimension line from the annotate toolbar as select the linear or aligned dimension
- And Give the dimension for the each room and hole dimension using the linear dimension for the Structural plan

Result : Using annotate toolbar add dimensions to all the walls and floors with reference to the longitudinal and transverse grids created in the project file

5) Create a sheet template from the view tab and adjust the parameters on the sheet to add appropriate views
Aim : Create a sheet template from the view tab and adjust the parameters on the sheet to add appropriate views
Procedure :
- Select the sheet from the view toolbar

- select the sheet and new tab for the visible on the screen
- select the sheet of A1 metric , then display the sheet templet

- Select the sheet templet and insert the ground floor
- Edit the project name and sheet number

Result : Create a sheet template from the view tab and adjust the parameters on the sheet to add appropriate views

6) Using the elevation tab create the elevation views, looking at your building from East, North, South, and West
Aim : Using the elevation tab create the elevation views, looking at your building from East, North, South, and West
Procedure :
- First select the view and go to the elevation

Go to the elevation in the properties then show the elevation of the east side

Go to the elevation in the properties then show the elevation of the West side

Go to the elevation in the properties then show the elevation of the North side

Go to the elevation in the properties then show the elevation of the South side

Result : Using the elevation tab create the elevation views, looking at your building from East, North, South, and West

7) Produce section cut through each room either cutting across longitudinally or in a transverse direction
Aim :Produce section cut through each room either cutting across longitudinally or in a transverse direction
Procedure :
- First select the view and go to the section

- Go to the Section option in the view tool bar
- and cut the section for the each room as show the section of the room
- Produce section cut through each room either cutting across longitudinally or in a transverse direction

Section veiw of the toilet room as show in the fig

Section veiw of the Kitchen and bed room as show in the fig

Result :
Produce section cut through each room either cutting across longitudinally or in a transverse direction

8) Classify the views, Plan Views, Section Views, and Elevation views to either Design or Documentation category using Properties browser
Aim : Classify the views, Plan Views, Section Views, and Elevation views to either Design or Documentation category using Properties browser
Procedure :
- First go to the properties browser and category the plan view , section view , elevation
- Structural plan view is a default view the starting of the model
- we can see the architeture and structural views in the plan views
- sectional views hidden details ina mechanical drawing
- elevation views as show in the direction on the sides

Result : Classify the views, Plan Views, Section Views, and Elevation views to either Design or Documentation category using Properties browser

9) Using the sheet template produced create multiple sheets as follows
a. A 101- Ground Floor Architecture Plan
b. A 102- First Floor Architecture Plan
c. A 103- Roof Plan
d. S 101- Ground Floor Structural Plan
e. S 102- First Floor Structural Plan
f. S 103- Roof Framing Plan
g. A-201- North-South Elevations
h. A-202- East-West Elevations
Aim : Using the sheet template produced create multiple sheets as follows
Procedure :
- The Ground Floor architectural plan in sheet template A - 101

- The First Floor architecture plan in sheet template A 102

- The Roof Plan architeture plan in sheet templete A 103

- The Ground Floor Structural plan in sheet template S - 101

- The First Floor Structural plan in sheet template S102

- The Roof Plan Structural plan in sheet templete S103

- The North - South Elevation plan in sheet templete A 201

- The East - West Elevation Plan in sheet templete A 202

- The Sectional plan in the sheet templete

10) Create a camera-specific view or a 3D view in each room ( living, dining, bedroom). Based on the views create a new set of sheets starting A-501 (you can add as many sheets after, 502, 503.. n)to place the 3D view images. Produce the sheets as a part of project drafting.
Aim : Create a camera-specific view or a 3D view in each room ( living, dining, bedroom). Based on the views create a new set of sheets starting A-501 (you can add as many sheets after, 502, 503.. n)to place the 3D view images. Produce the sheets as a part of project drafting.
Procedure :
- Camera Views are really useful in Revit.
- They allow us to view what we would actually see if we were standing at any given location in our design.
- This can be invaluable for both understanding and communicating the nature of a space before we go to the expensive lengths of actually constructing it for real.
- First we take the sheet and name it as A-501.
- Place the camera in the living room and dining room and both view kept in the sheet as name of A- 501

- First we take the sheet and name it as A-502.
- Place the camera in the Bed room and Toilet room and both view kept in the sheet as name of A- 502

Result : Create a camera-specific view or a 3D view in each room ( living, dining, bedroom).
