Introduction

Initially discontent with my choice to pursue civil engineering, my interest grew as I recognized the field's potential to address societal issues. Through internships and research projects, I focused on sustainability and construction rejuvenation, publishing a paper on ‘Bond Strength of Concrete Incorporating Bottom Ash as Partial Replacement of Fine Aggregate’ and completing an award-winning project on ‘Removal of Copper Molecules from Electro-plating Industrial Wastewater.’ I pursued a Master's in Structural Engineering, achieving a CGPA of 9.61, with a focus on sustainability and advanced structural behavior. My master's thesis on self-healing concrete was successful, and I published a paper on ‘Structural Behavior of Self-compacting Fiber Reinforced Concrete.’ I was honored as the Best Outgoing Student and University Gold Medalist in my cohort. I am currently pursuing a master's at California State University Long Beach.
