Types of TPMS

These sensors transmit data to the vehicle's onboard computer, which then alerts the driver if any tyre pressure is below the recommended level. Direct TPMS provides accurate and real-time pressure readings for each tyre.
Indirect TPMS
Indirect TPMS, on the other hand, does not measure tyre pressure directly. Instead, it uses the vehicle's Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) sensors to monitor wheel speed. If a tyre is under-inflated, its circumference decreases, causing it to rotate faster than properly inflated tyres. The system detects this difference in wheel speed and triggers an alert. Indirect TPMS is generally less accurate than direct TPMS but is often more cost-effective.
