Mastering Match Properties and Hyperlinks in AutoCAD for Civil Engineers

How to Use Match Properties in AutoCAD: 

• Type MA in the command prompt. 
• Select the source object (from which properties are to be copied). 
• Choose the destination object (to apply the copied properties).

For example, matching only the layer of a text object in the "annotation" layer to a line ensures uniform assignment without altering color or line weight.

Steps to Add Hyperlinks: 

• Select an object. 
• Type HYPERLINK in the command prompt. 
• Add the file path, webpage link, or text display name. 
• Save the hyperlink.
